<>Ambiance<> New York City, Early December a chill wind
grips the city and a thick blanket of snow covers the walkways. Galrick
has just collapsed after using the magic that apparently killed the
annunaki intruder.
[12:18] <Galrick> <Villagers open your eyes>
[12:19] * ZLOK is lost.
[12:20] * LordBarrius looks over at Galrick and rushes to his side. "Galrick!"
[12:20] * Avarie carefully approaches Galrick, kneeling beside his head to check his vitals.
[12:20] <Hadin> "Hmph, well...I wonder if that does me some good with a certain matter of time."
[12:21]
and Avarie space to check up on him. "Well lass, how's he look, hmm?"
[12:21] * AlastorRyst opens his eyes, staggering, "What just happened?"
[12:22] * LordBarrius frowns. "This isn't good....now what? We can't just leave him out here."
[12:22] * ZLOK is still quite lost.
[12:23] * Daniel walks towards the group of people and smiles, not yet seeing the occurrance, wearing a plaid coat from Elaith *
[12:23] <AlastorRyst> What's the matter ZLOK?
[12:23] * ZLOK is elsewhere.
[12:23]
breathing is irregular. I'm not sure if there could be internal damage."
[12:23] <Jeice> Galrick. I hope you are alright.
[12:23] * Nicholas falls down on his rear end.
[12:23] * AlastorRyst looks at Galrick, "Did he just help us?"
[12:23] * Daniel arrives with the group and his smile disappears seeing Galrick collapsed *
[12:23]
strapping young lads that we can carry him with us I suppose. Though I
daresay we ought to figure out where to head first." Glancing around,
he pauses on that train of thought. Anyone seen that ZLOK fellow?
[12:24] <AlastorRyst> I'll carry him when we go, if he's still unconcious.
[12:24] * LordBarrius nods. "Sure, I can help carry him."
[12:24] * AlastorRyst looks at Barrius and nods, "I'll take his left, you get the right."
[12:24] <Avarie> If you do, be as careful as you can. If he's actually injurded himself rough movement could worse it.
[12:25] * Nicholas looks around at everyone.
[12:25] * LordBarrius nods and carefully grabs hold of his right side.
[12:25] * AlastorRyst nods, "I agree."
[12:25] * AlastorRyst lifts Galrick up by his left arm and shoulder
[12:26] * LordBarrius groans at first from the lifting but manages to keep his hold.
[12:26]
but did we decide where we are heading yet, hmm? Oh, and has no one
seen where ZLOK ran to recently?"
[12:26] * Daniel says something, nobody noticing his arrival * "Greetings Avarie."
[12:26] * Nicholas shrugs helplessly.
[12:26] * LordBarrius shakes his head. "No....I'm not sure."
[12:27]
what to do now." She then turns and acknowledges Daniel. "You appear to
have arrived at an odd time."
[12:27] * Hadin coughs again, thinking that he just imagined something. "Couldn't have been..." he whispers silently.
[12:27] <Daniel> You know Elaith. He thought I'd be better suited for this.
[12:27] <Daniel> He gave me his ugly jacket as evidence.
[12:27] * AlastorRyst struggles with Galrick
[12:27] * Avarie smirks without humor. "I'm beyond thinking anything is impossible, Hadin."
[12:28]
before returning his focus on holding Galrick up. "We'd better decide
where to go soon....I'd not like to stand here holding him too long."
[12:29] <Hadin> "Well, Avarie...by the lords, it is him! Little Talo-Toecan, how did this come about?"
[12:29] <Nicholas> So... what's the plan?
[12:29] <AlastorRyst> Talo-Toecan?
[12:30] * Avarie 's face assumes an expression of confusion though she is pleased at Hadin's excitement.
[12:31] * Nicholas stands up.
[12:31] * LordBarrius grins briefly but keeps his focus on holding Galrick up.

[12:33] * Avarie nods slowly, in partial understanding. "Why is he contacting you?"

listen in. "What the hell...? Talo! Focus your damn mind!'

LordBarrius frowns, his muscles starting to show signs that he's
struggling. "We need to get Galrick inside....preferrably before I get
too tired to hold him."
[12:34] * Jeice chuckles after hearing what Hadin exclamed.
[12:34] * Nicholas yawns slightly.
[12:35] * Avarie watches Hadin with interest, hopeful that the old man might once again know the answers to what they should do.
[12:35] <AlastorRyst> I'm already too tired to hold him, Barrius...
[12:36] * Hadin glances directly at Jeice. "Lad...how can you be in two places at once?"
[12:37] <Jeice> Its a long story old man.
[12:37] <Jeice> It is magic, to be short and sweet.
[12:37] * Hadin harumphs. "A favor, Talo-Toecan? You already ought to know I'm a tad...burdened...by things these days."
[12:37] <Jeice> Barrius, here, I'll take him.
[12:37]

[12:38] * LordBarrius shakes his head. "No, I'm fine for a bit longer. Take Alastor's place."
[12:38] * AlastorRyst nods, "Please!"
[12:38] <Jeice> I say listen to Avarie on this.
[12:38] <Jeice> No point in lifting for now.

into thin metallic liquid that flows down a nearby storm drain
[12:39] * AlastorRyst nods, "Sure."
[12:39] * LordBarrius frowns. "Um...."
[12:39] * Nicholas gasps.
[12:39] * ZLOK wanders aimlessly westwards.
[12:39] <Jeice> Galrick?1
[12:39] * AlastorRyst looks at the drain
[12:39] <AlastorRyst> Well... You don't see that every day...
[12:40] * Avarie 's jaw drops, staring at the point where Galrick had landed.
[12:40] * AlastorRyst places a cigarette in his mouth and lights it up
[12:40] * LordBarrius frowns as he watches the liquid drain away. "What sort of magic is this?"
[12:40] * Hadin stares at the puddle of liquid, frowning as he tries to focus on listening for Talo-Toecan.
[12:40] * Avarie shakes her head to clear her thoughts, then thinks aloud, "So that explains the metallic scent."
[12:41] <Jeice> That can't be good.
[12:41] <Jeice> Wait, could that have been a fake?
[12:41] * LordBarrius nods. "It had to have been...."
[12:41] <AlastorRyst> I'd doubt it, his magic was very real, but it's always possible...
[12:41] <Jeice> Possibly a golem.
[12:42] * Avarie shrugs helplessly, far out of her element. "How could we tell?"
[12:42] <Jeice> So, how do we find out, and if it is, how do we find the real one?
[12:42] * Daniel listens and watches with interest *
[12:43]
his words. "What in the hell? Find and aid Diviara? Diviara of all
people...you'd best have a damn good reason, you Useless ferret!"
[12:44] * LordBarrius frowns. "Diviara?"
[12:44] <AlastorRyst> Wait a second... You're talking to a ferret?! Clockwork or not, that's crazy.
[12:44] * Nicholas raises his hand, "I support actions that assist Diviara."
[12:45]
up. "Diviara...David Viara...what in the bloody hell is that ferret
talking about?"
[12:45] * Avarie stares at the drain that the form
of Galrick had disappeared into for a moment more before returning her
confused gaze to Hadin.
[12:46] * LordBarrius frowns. "I don't know...."
[12:46] <Nicholas> If I recall correctly, David Varia requested our assistance.
[12:47] <Hadin> "Damn, I can't hear him anymore...and Talo-Toecan is not mere ferret, Alastor."
[12:47] * Daniel looks to see if a bit of the metallic liquid stayed above *
[12:48] * Avarie looks hopefully at Hadin. "Do you know what should be done?"
[12:48] * AlastorRyst exhales smoke, "I suppose... But still..."

less a formal favor. I suppose *I* ought to at least try and find
Diviara, or maybe get in contact with David again. I just don't think
I've got the magic in me right now to try using it for either purpose."
[12:52] * Daniel has nothing to say and so remains absolutely quiet *
[12:52] * LordBarrius nods. "Then where should we start looking?"
[12:52]
suppose. But I thought there were large difficulties getting to that
place?"
[12:53] * Nicholas shrugs at LordBarrius, "I have no idea..."
[12:53] * AlastorRyst just keeps smoking, waiting for somebody to say something
[12:53] * ZLOK sits at the water just south of the hudson river park, despairing at his current situation.

[12:54] <Hadin> "What interests me, though, is the manner in which he said the name Diviara, specifically."
[12:54] * LordBarrius frowns. "But how can we get in contact with David again? Do you know of a way?"
[12:55] <Hadin> "You ask as if I'm eternally full of answers?"
[12:56] * LordBarrius shrugs. "I was mostly curious, actually."
[12:56] <Avarie> Well you are more knowledgeable than I. I'm hoping you are correct on this matter.
[12:57]
<Hadin> "As I said, I'd try a variant on the scrying portal I had
used while trapped thanks to Wes, but I don't exactly have it in me.
Not after that incident."
[12:58] * LordBarrius nods. "Then we need to figure out how to do so...."
[12:59] * Avarie frowns then looks to the gathered for help. "Does anyone know of a method to contact another realm?"
[12:59] * LordBarrius shakes his head slowly. "Afraid not."
[12:59] <Daniel> I am afraid I will be of no use there.
[12:59]
<Hadin> "Before we do anything, we ought to find where ZLOK
managed to get to, methinks...best not leave him alone too long, even
if he did run off."
[12:59] * Nicholas shakes his head, "No, I don't have any such method."
[13:00] <Avarie> All right, let's try that. Do you think that we should perhaps search the park?
[13:01] * LordBarrius shrugs. "Sure. Whatever we do, I suggest we hurry. Time has never been on our side."
[13:02] <Nicholas> I agree whole heartedly.
[13:02] <Avarie> Too true. Then, unless there are any objections, let's move in that direction.
[13:02] * AlastorRyst nods, then exhales smoke, "Whatever you say, old man."

how he did it...interesting indeed." He hobbles alongside Avarie, still
thinking hard, while whispering softly. "Well, Talo-Toecan, ideas would
be appreciated."
[13:04] * AlastorRyst walks with the group, keeping a good 10 yard space between them
[13:04] * Avarie walks briskly towards the park, hurrying but not so fast as to leave Hadin behind.
[13:05] * LordBarrius dashes after the group, trying to keep up with the mass of them.
[13:05] * Jeice follows.
[13:05] * Daniel shambles along with the others, being nonchalant *
[13:05] * Nicholas quickly follows behind Avarie.
[13:05]

[13:06] * Avarie glances at Hadin, not understanding, her own face lined with worry about her friend's disappearence.
[13:09] * Hadin shrugs and sighs. "Bothersome, this is...anyone spot ZLOK yet, by chance?"
[13:09] <AlastorRyst> No dice, old man.
[13:09] * Daniel shakes his head *
[13:10] * Avarie scans the area as she walks, hoping to find a familiar face.
[13:10] * LordBarrius glances about, growing frustrated in his search.
[13:11] * Nicholas looks at his feet.
[13:17] * Daniel looks further for any signs of ZLOK *
[13:17] * Hadin shudders. "That's decidedly unpleasant...too bad I've not a clue why the yelling..."
[13:18] * AlastorRyst looks at the Artificer, "What's going on, old man?"
[13:18] * Avarie looks to Hadin with concern.
[13:19] * LordBarrius frowns and glances over at Hadin.

then...whatever's going on, I'm pretty sure a Falerin is yelling at
Talo-Toecan and company."
[13:20] * AlastorRyst smirks, then disposes of his expent cigarette, "My bad, old..." then stops, catching himself
[13:21] * Nicholas stares at his shoes and starts talking to himself, "Where's ZLOK? There's ZLOK! No, that's a dog."
[13:22] * AlastorRyst looks at Nicholas quizzically, "You're going nuckin' futs, dude."
[13:23] * LordBarrius rolls his eyes at Nicholas's comment and walks over to Hadin. "Can you hear any of what they're saying?"
[13:23] <Hadin> "Tis not just dependant on myself, ya know...but I cannot. Wish I could."
[13:24] * LordBarrius shrugs helplessly.
[13:27] <Hadin> "Erm, well, that's...interesting...though I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. But..."
[13:29]
<Hadin> "Realities merging and becomming one, as differences
become less and less. A natural tendency to self-correct."
[13:30] * LordBarrius frowns. "I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand."
[13:30] * Avarie looks at Hadin confused and worried.
[13:31] * Nicholas continues to stare at his shoes and talk to himself, "Biaxomus... my foolish analog..."

[13:31] <AlastorRyst> Heh, I hated that guy...
[13:31] * LordBarrius nods, seeming a bit worried.

<Hadin> "That leaves us with what? A missing companion who ran
off, another missing companion who we never saw left, a mystery to
comprehend, and this Diviara and David mess."
[13:33] <LordBarrius> Indeed....this bodes ill.
[13:33] <Hadin> "Quite so lad, quite so."
[13:33] <Avarie> What should we do?
[13:33] * LordBarrius glances around once more, hoping he perhaps missed ZLOK in his first look.
[13:34] * ZLOK gets up and heads back towards central.
[13:34] <Nicholas> If I knew what we should do... I would of already suggested it.
[13:34] * Hadin suddenly sits down, hard, on the nearest safe patch of dirt/road/sidewalk.
[13:35] * Avarie looks at Hadin with concern, suddenly worried about his health. "Hadin, are you all right?"
[13:35] * LordBarrius turns his head towards Hadin with a frown. "Please tell me you're just tired."
[13:35] <AlastorRyst> Hard to keep up, old man?
[13:35] <Hadin> "There is no way...how could *he* have snatched her up in our midst?"
[13:36] <Avarie> What's wrong? What has happened?
[13:36] * LordBarrius looks at Hadin bewildered. "What are you...."
[13:37] <AlastorRyst> Heh, I wouldn't be suprised.
[13:37] * Nicholas glares at Hadin, "Hmmm..."
[13:38]
<Hadin> "Oh that bastard, if he was Cartwright's agent, I'll bash
his head in with my cane myself. If what I heard...and suspect...is
true, then Cartwright has Lkeas and we have Wes to thank for it."
[13:38] * LordBarrius 's jaw drops. "No...."
[13:38] * Nicholas shudders.
[13:39] * Avarie 's eyes grow terrified and her body trembles. "Cartwright has Lkeas?"
[13:39] <Nicholas> "It's good thing Wes is dead... or atleast his analog."
[13:39] <AlastorRyst> Well, well, well, isn't that bad.
[13:39] <Hadin> "Wes sold himself out to Ryuusei, remember? It makes sense."
[13:40] <AlastorRyst> This Ryuusei guy sounds powerful, can he cure cancer?
[13:41] * Hadin threatens to smack Alastor in the shin for being cheeky, but decides to save the energy and stand back up.
[13:41] * AlastorRyst smirks
[13:41] <Nicholas> Ryuusei Cartwright...
[13:41] <Jeice> The question we should ask is: How do we find her?
[13:41] * Wes appears from a shadow
[13:42] <Nicholas> I wish I knew.
[13:42] <AlastorRyst> Is anybody going to answer me?
[13:42] <Wes> Cry me a river....
[13:42] <AlastorRyst> I really hate cancer.
[13:42] * Nicholas stumbles backwards.
[13:42] * LordBarrius turns towards the voice. "You...."
[13:42] * Hadin growls and brandishes his cane at Wes. "I'll have your head, lad."
[13:42] * AlastorRyst turns to Wes, "You're the bad guy. Can Ryuusei cure cancer?"
[13:42] <Nicholas> The`Galin revived you?
[13:42] <Wes> I see they got you out of where I dumped you...
[13:43] <Wes> What are you babling about?
[13:43] <Wes> Revived me from what....
[13:43] <AlastorRyst> Wes, can Ryuusei cure my cancer?
[13:43] <Wes> Perhaps you have me confused with my analog
[13:43]
fear. She speaks, her voice filled with loathing, "You."
[13:43] <Nicholas> I must...
[13:43] * Nicholas shrugs.
[13:43] * LordBarrius swears to himself, then locks his eyes on Wes, his face clearly seething with rage.
[13:43] * Hadin harumphs. "Bring her back, Wes."
[13:44] * Wes drops into the shadow
[13:44] * Wes rises out of a different shadow some distance away
[13:44] <AlastorRyst> Damnit Wes, answer me!
[13:44] <Wes> "Make me"
[13:44] <Wes> "You always treated me like shit"
[13:44] <AlastorRyst> I'll make you an offer.
[13:44] * Nicholas sighs.
[13:44] * Wes drops into a shadow
[13:44] * Wes rises out of another shadow
[13:44] * Daniel still looks on with nothing to say *
[13:44] <AlastorRyst> If he can cure my cancer, I'll obey him.
[13:44] * LordBarrius bares his teeth but refrains from trying to act out his rage.
[13:45] <AlastorRyst> If he can't, I could care less.
[13:45] <Wes> "Hated and harassed me."
[13:45] * Wes stops
[13:45] * Wes smiles
[13:45] <Hadin> "Bloody...by the Lords, you brought it all on yourself. Foolish to the bloody end."
[13:45] <Wes> "Pledge your immortal soul to The`Galin in exchange for a cure...."
[13:45] * AlastorRyst completely ignores Hadin, "Will it work?"
[13:45] * Nicholas chuckles.
[13:45] <Wes> "Say.. I will Serve The`Galin willingly if he cures my disease"
[13:45] <Nicholas> Only a fool would do that.
[13:46] <Wes> Include the condition even
[13:46] <Wes> thats fine
[13:46] <Wes> Other people are sloppy
[13:46] <Hadin> "Don't you do it, Alastor. Don't be as bloody foolish as Wes."
[13:46] * AlastorRyst turns to the group, "Sorry, you all can't help me."
[13:46] <Wes> They forget to include the condition
[13:46] * LordBarrius looks over at Alastor. "Don't be so foolish!"
[13:46] <AlastorRyst> I will serve The`Galin willingly if he cures my cancer forever.
[13:46] * AlastorRyst sighs
[13:46] <Nicholas> I'm pretty sure Biaxomus included a condition...
[13:46] * Wes disappears into a shado
[13:46] * Wes appears next to Alastor
[13:47] <Wes> "Do you know what cancer is?"
[13:47] <Jeice> It seems we've lost another one.
[13:47] * AlastorRyst looks down at his feet
[13:47] <Wes> "It is your own body"
[13:47] * LordBarrius drops to his knees and slams a fist in the ground. "You damn fool!"
[13:47] * Hadin smacks Alastor with his cane. "You fool."
[13:47] <AlastorRyst> It's too terrible to live with.
[13:47] * Avarie growls in frustration at Alastor. "You fool."
[13:47] <Wes> "Attacking you from within"
[13:47] <Nicholas> Oh well...
[13:47] <Wes> "Your own cells going mad"
[13:47] <Wes> "Did you know that Alastor"
[13:47] <AlastorRyst> I can't say that I did...
[13:47] <Wes> "Do you know what the Ultimate Cure for cancer is....."
[13:47] <AlastorRyst> Death.
[13:47] * Wes gestures at a shadow
[13:47] <Nicholas> Honestly, I can't believe you would do something so stupid.
[13:47] <>Ambiance<> The Seraphim form of Fulcan appears from the shadow
[13:48] <Wes> "He is yours Fulcan... as you wished"
[13:48] * AlastorRyst looks at Fulcan
[13:48] <AlastorRyst> No!
[13:48] <Nicholas> Fulcan?
[13:48] * Fulcan grins widely
[13:48] * AlastorRyst backs away slowly, then turns and run
[13:48] <AlastorRyst> s
[13:48] <Hadin> "You did it to yourself, just as Wes proved to be a bloody idiot and sold out to Ryuusei."
[13:48] * Fulcan lands beside Alastor
[13:48] <Nicholas> I don't suppose Leo will be showing up next?
[13:48] * AlastorRyst stops
[13:48] <AlastorRyst> No!
[13:48] * Fulcan phases a hand right through Alastor's chest
[13:48] <AlastorRyst> No, no, no, don't!
[13:48] * LordBarrius stands, but averts his gaze, unwilling to watch.
[13:49] * Fulcan pulls out Alastor's lungs through his chest wall
[13:49] * AlastorRyst screams in pain
[13:49] * Hadin watches grimly, cursing under his breath all the while.
[13:49] * Nicholas focuses all of his attention on Fulcan.
[13:49] * AlastorRyst falls to the ground
[13:49] * Avarie turns her head away.
[13:49] <Wes> "He ripped out the cancer... you are dead. Cancer cured...."
[13:49] <Wes> "Obligation fulfilled"
[13:49] * Falerin sets mode: -v AlastorRyst
[13:50] * Nicholas sighs.
[13:50] * LordBarrius turns his gaze on Wes again. "You...."
[13:50]
and lands in Fulcan's hands but it changes and twists somehow
[13:50]
you bloody well get when you treat with The`Galin! Death. Death when
he's through with using you as a bloody tool."
[13:50] * Daniel makes no move forward *
[13:51] * Nicholas walks closer to Fulcan.
[13:51] <Nicholas> Well, you have a weapon...
[13:51]
<Fulcan> "I am finally complete as I should have always been... I
possess the full soul. I posess the full body. I possess the full
power...."
[13:51] <Nicholas> I'm assuming you'll attack us...
[13:51] * Fulcan turns on Nicholas
[13:51] <Fulcan> "he has other plans for you"
[13:51] * Fulcan flies off
[13:51] * Hadin shakes his head. "Bloody hell."
[13:52] * Nicholas stomps his foot.
[13:52] * Wes arrises beside Nicholas
[13:52] <Wes> "You wish to serve the master too...."
[13:52] <Nicholas> No, I don't.
[13:52] <Wes> "That is abundantly clear...."
[13:52] <Wes> "Anyone who hates love wants to serve him"
[13:53] <Wes> "Anyone who wishes to eliminate that emotion is already his servant"
[13:53] <Wes> "So yes... yes you do Nicholas"
[13:53] <Wes> "
[13:53] * LordBarrius spins around towards Nicholas. "No...."
[13:53] <Nicholas> It's not that simple...
[13:53] <Wes> "Your hatred of your Analog... turns you INTO your analog"
[13:53] * Avarie wraps her arms about herself, shaken.
[13:53] <Wes> "IT IS THAT SIMPLE"
[13:53] * Hadin turns around and puts a hand on Avarie's shoulder. "Come on lass, it'll be alright soon enough."
[13:53] * Wes laughs hysterically
[13:53] * Nicholas stand completely still.
[13:54] * Wes holds a finger up to his nose
[13:54] * LordBarrius turns his gaze away again.
[13:54]
<Wes> "In the name of His Majesty The`Galin ruler of worlds I
remove the segregation. I recohere this one with his alter. Unity is
the work of The`Galin"
[13:54] <Nicholas> What?
[13:55] <Jeice> That's not good.
[13:55] * Nicholas is now known as Leo_Biaxomous
[13:55] <Wes> <END OF SESSION>
