The Legend of the Eight: Volume 2

Some odd events have taken place here and they have caused me to do this research and record this narrative. Ultimately these will lead me away from Vandar to Deren where I hope to learn more of what is coming to our land however it is somewhat important that I record what it is I experienced. It was because of my research on Drakel and the rumors of the off world Drakel that presumably I was contacted of all persons.

I was researching at Alorin when I was assaulted by a strange creature with a grey skin a hairless head and odd bulbous eyes. Their aspect was mammalian but not like any of the Lorian races I have previously encountered. The being claimed to be a harbinger warning of the coming storm and he wanted to see that we remembered the Legend of the Eight.

I had no idea to what legend he referred and I told him so which agitated him greatly and he demanded that I dig deeper within Alorin so I did. It seems that there is a Prophecy about the next return of the Devourer. To aid us in out great quest the deities of Lore have sent eight elemental spirits to dwell among man kind. These spirits were sent to guide us in the coming storm. As they represented the material power of a god they were called Avatar much as the physical manifestation of a god would be.

The prophecy caused the visitor to become quite agitated and he said that it was so and that it was the Annunaki who were these spirits that the Annunaki had turned the hands of time in awaiting his coming. The implication is that there was some sort of disconnect between the times of different worlds and these Annunaki dwell even now on Lore among us.

The Avatar are apparently a group of Leaders among the Annunaki who have dedicated themselves to fighting The’Galin. Each of these Annunaki represent an elemental force and the unity of these elemental forces are required for the hope of Creation. Shortly after telling me this narrative the odd Gray being died. I cannot say what caused his death any more than I can say how he arrived. The only other thing I was able to gather is the name of the beings. It seems imperative that they be found. Whit this and other things on my mind I continue my research.*

Note: The identity of this Avatar is known to me Absolutely, the names but not the order of some of the others are known as well due to Sigarin’s research and the work of others they are these:

Edward

The Eternal

The Huntress

Anna

It remains unknown the elemental correspondences of these Avatar I can only be certain of that of Life and by supposition Death ~Tralin

End Note: Sigarin aided Deren greatly in their research against the Uncreator eventually providing the transit information required to allow us to transit to one of these other worlds. Unfortunately it was discovered to be the very world the Brilhado were once banished to. Sigarin has subsequently been killed as he was influenced by Cold and Undeath. ~ Tralin
