Shinko Gets Her Membership: Shinko decides to go to Brigade Leader Haruko to sign up. But there's initiation to go through before she's accepted.
Nobody Wants Shin Around: Shin believes that Shinko, his parents, and the neighborhood's constant argument means that they don't want him in Kasukabe, so he leaves for the mountains.
