Animovie, a subsidiary of Taylor Media Stations Group. (parent company of Anime TV and JTN) is the first cable channel in North America dedicated to anime movies. The network launched in North America in late 2006 and is being marketed to multi-system operators (MSOs) from coast-to-coast as both a stand-alone 24-hour Pay-TV network and as a HDTV programming service. Many cable companies and TV stations from coast to coast have started to incorporate the network into their channel line-ups.

Taylorcom added Animovies on channel 88 on January 1, 2006 as part of a test channel. Zooropa added Anime Network to their Digital Television service January 5, 2006.
