Nazeing GP from Meadgate Lane - Sandwich Tern with the flock of Common Tern's (12) this morning. And although this site is in Essex, the circuit the Sandwich is taking around the two pits, it enters Herts as it crosses the River Lea. It did this twice in half an hour. Also Cuckoo calling here.- Mike Harris

At the Feeders were a very obliging female Siskin and a pair of Nuthatch along with the more usual fayre. 2 Stock Dove, 2 Green Woodpecker, 1 G S Woodpecker, 1 Chiffchaff singing, Great/Blue/Coal & Long tailed Tits, 3 Treecreeper (including 2 singing birds.A pair of Blue Tits were taking nesting material in to one of the 'Bat boxes' near the Centre - that's going to be one interesting maiden flight for the Offspring! - Mike Harris
