Hatfield Forest Lake - 11 Gadwall, single KINGFISHER hanging around the North end was fairly vocal, 5 Marsh Tit, 3 Great Crested Grebes including a bird sitting on nest!, 2 Common Tern, 13 Greylag, 68 Canada Geese + 1 white domestic job. House Martins c.100 feeding over the water and some open bushes which also held 3+ Blackcaps, 10+ Willochiffs (including a few definite Chiffchaff and one bright Juvenile Willow Warbler), 5 Robins and 7 SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS - Graeme J. Blounts Farm - 10 Linnet, 4 Pied Wagtails included 2 Juveniles, 7 Lesser Black-backed Gulls over North-east, 2 Stockdove and a single Brown Hare.

Trims Green (Lysander Park/Morris Farm) - Linnet 25+, Greenfinch c.10, Goldfinch 15+ and 5 YELLOW WAGTAIL.

Hayter, Spellbrook (west)0710 Hrs - A minimum of 3 Goldcrest and 2 Coal Tit, 1 Stockdove over West, 5 Swallow and 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull over NW. 1230Hrs. YELLOW WAGTAIL 37 … on Hayter’s roof! 7 Pied Wagtail, over 100 SWALLOW feeding on the masses of insects being blown in from the fields to the South. Goldfinches + Juvs coming down to a burst pipe to drink.

Blounts Farm (again at 1615 Hrs) - 137 Lesser Black-backed Gull , 262 Black-headed Gull and 9 COMMON GULL around the tractor working the field between Blounts and Mathams Wood - Graeme J. Smith
