Biography
Pre-Wiki Nui
Takarii was once a Matoran who lived on an island located very south of the Matoran Universe called Chakta Nui with his best friend, Tairwen.
The Matoran there lived such a hard life on Chakta Nui that it was said to make Voya Nui look like a paradise. Chakta Nui was so south, that it stands on the ice cap of the south pole, has two active volcanoes, acid rivers. Worse, all the island's rahi were mutated so they contributed to the catastrophe. Three Quarters of the Matoran of Chakta Nui lived on the northern peninsula which they called "Cape of Transparent Safety", among which included Takarii and Tairwen, and a Quarter of the rest of the Matoran lived in a castle on the foot of the "Bahrag Volcanoes". When Chakta Nui's Bahrag Volcanoes erupted, the island was invaded by Visorak, which were attracted by the bright explosions, and Takarii and Tairwen fled the island by a small sailboat constructed by Tairwen.
They found their way to the closest island, which was uninhabited. They explored the island and found a cave system. In the smallest of the caves they dwelled for apprx. 827 years. Then they found a discovery- The largest of the caves held the secret entranceway to a deserted OoMN outpost. There they found records of the existence of the universe, and everything else, and a portal. The portal transported them to The Lift, a Mountain twice the size of Mount Ihu on Mata Nui, which connected the surface world to the universe of domes. but The Lift served another purpose - the largest OoMN outpost.
The duo were welcomed warmly and so, they stayed there peacefully for 192 years.
In the beggining of their 193th year on The Lift, OoMN leader Helryx spoke with them.
"The stars revealed many messages," She said to them "One message is very clear. The time has come for you to leave The Lift"
And Takarii responded:
"Oh no. I'm not going back to Chakta Nui!"
"You aren't going back. You are going to a newfound paradise."
And Tairwen asked:
"What, the Arthaka Refuge"
"No," Helryx said "You are going to Wiki Nui."
And so they traveled by an Interdome Chute to the urban paradise of Wiki Nui.
Wiki Nui
Takarii and Tairwen arrived on Wiki Nui, hungry. They were specially welcomed by Exo Malakai and TNU, and they became good friends. Soon, TNU was training Takarii in weapon and elemental fighting. And for 992 years, they dwelt there, and explored the city. But on a night 82 weeks after 992th years, Crystal Matrix mysteriously gave Takarii and Tairwen Toa Stones, and thus, the duo became Toa, and they pledged to be defenders of Wiki Nui.
And when various evil took hold of the city, Takarii, Tairwen, Exo, TNU, and many other Toa banded together to Liberate Wiki Nui.
But recently, Takarii has recieved visions of where his old friends were, and what kind of danger they're in. He decided that after the Liberation he decided to track down his friends and save them.
Takarii Today
Takarii lives in Ga-Wiki, his most favorite part of the city, due to its tranquility. But nowadays, he rarely visits home, since he is fighting all manner of evil beings in order to liberate Wiki Nui.
Abilities and Traits
Using his Mask of Kanohi Powers, Takarii can use any mask power except those of legendary Kanohi and can use multiple powers at once. Takarii's most used Kanohi power is the one of the Mahiki, and he uses it to take the shape of anything to pull pranks. (However, in all the forms takes, his original colors remain the same) Takarii also has the powers over the elements of Air, Light and Shadow. It is currently unknown how he received the ability to control all three.
Personality
Takarii's nature is quiet and friendly, but he can get annoying sometimes. He considers every Toa and Matoran his friend, and has a way with Rahi. He often looks up to Exo Malakai as his leader. He gets bright ideas when dealing with enemies, and he doesn't expect anyone to approve of his ideas. Some Matoran and Toa say that he isn't what a Toa should be, since he dislikes fighting. Some serious Toa think he doesn't take the Three Virtues seriously, since he jokes around too much and is considered mischiveous.

- Takarii is based on the Game Team member by the same name.
- Takarii has a mysterious, unknown connection to Tairwen, similar to the one of the Bahrag.
- Takarii hates fighting, so instead of fighting enemies, he waits and lets the enemy tire out, then defeat them with a weak slash.
- Takarii's current Toa Nuva appereance is not his natural Toa appereance.
- Takarii isn't quite sure what his destiny is.
