Mornington Crescent is a multi-player game where each player nominates a new location based on the location of the previous author. In most instances, the locations relate to a stop in the public transport system, like a train or underground/subway station. Everyone knows the rules of course, but no-one writes them down, so they tend to be constructed and argued on a whim. In fact, more tends to be said about the unrecorded rules than the locations!
