The Confederation has legal control over the large area to the northeast of their main states, however they wield little real power here. The frontier is the heart of Dark's wilderness and it is more owned by magic and beasts than by any man. The Confederation does regularly patrol the southern parts of the Frontier, sending troops through the northern pass, where the Golgotha Mountains turn towards the sea. However, the Frontier is just as often visisted by agents from Kogai, Albionorians, Laguans and Marklanders and most small settlements within it are fairly independent of any form of rule.
