The ship was posted as part of the [[San Francisco]] Home Defence fleet. It has a crew of approximately 700 and has approximately 500 troops posted on it. It was involved in various anti-pirate campaigns, though with varying levels of success. The ship is home to both Senior Officer Hugo Machus and First Sergeant Mark Peiterson.

It was damaged in the battle and forced to make an emergency landing at the San Francisco air military base. It is one of 2 military ships to survive the battle.

The ship was also involved in The Battle In The Southwest (exact location unknown) where it arrived part way through the battle after being repaired in San Francisco. In the battle it dropped both Hugo Machus' detachment of troops and Mark Peiterson's specialised experimental close quarters squadron.
