HB Journal for Sep 14, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

These cool fall mornings certainly are fine, and make one feel peppy.

The bin is filled with coal now and the cellar pipe on the furnace is fixed and the fire is burning so let winter come.

The morning went along the same as always.

In the afternoon Everett and I went in to Lancaster to see for another car. We looked at good ones and bad ones but found two we could not decide between but for price.

Nancy was here for supper and after a while.
