We didn't get awake any too soon and then we didn't get up right away. The result was that we were late again. Groffie complained behind my back a little too.

We weren't very busy at the mill. We just jumped from one job to the other cleaning up and so forth.

We ate a good supper in a hurry, then I made a round trip to Paradise. We had a board meeting here which was very successful. Business was transacted well & we had fun.

The day was soft and cloudy with a little hope of it clearing off.
