A pretty good day has again come for our improvement. We hacked away at our work this forenoon and succeeded in getting above it by noon.

After dinner I took off my shirt and got my hoe and harrow & knocked a million weeds out of the garden. All the girls of the town congregated out front.

After supper, Everett & I went up to Shirks and inspected the new 1941 Chevrolet. We liked it very much.
