Now today was just fine. Only it should have been yesterday for I have part of today's diary in yesterday's page.

It was damp today and Jane took little dumpling down home in the afternoon. We were there for supper also. I came home and made a wood fire in the furnace.

Yesterday We had the first cottage prayer meeting in Mrs. Hellmans home in Paradise. Not a big gathering.
