HB Journal for Nov 20, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Today started off swell. It was cold & cloudy and Monday.
John Moore & Hess each took a load of Amish to Phila to the Baugh fertilizer plant. We were left busy at the mill with orders pouring in from all corners.
We worked like a bunch of wild men and didn't get finished until 6ix oclock.
After a sumptuous supper, we got ready & went to County Chorus practice. I drove Stan Ranck's new '39 Chevy in. Practice was fine & we didn't get home till eleven.
