HB Journal for Nov 16, 1939

I didn't get the whole way down this morning & Earl picked me up. We weren't at all early.

There was plenty to do at the mill, a few yesterday's orders and a good many today's. We got through it nevertheless.

Jane & some of the other Youngs went to town & she got a new coat. Also Nancy got one & a new hat.

After supper I took my wife and we went to "Old" Choir practice only a party for Lee kept some of the choir away.
