HB Journal for Jul 20, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
This morning I got up a little stiff from yesterday hustle & strain. I was not alone in this stiffness for Groffie & Allen both complained of the same ailment.
The day did not run away although it did not drag. We are nearly full of wheat at the mill now and it takes shoveling & leveling to place it.
I got my haircut before supper. Right after supper we went over home to an Icecream party. We were all there but Harry. Louise K. & Aldena were extra, even Grammy. We swam, and of course, ate, and sang till it was bed time then we all went home -- about 10:30.
