HB Journal for Feb 25, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
I didn't get up awful early but it didn't matter. We had only one small truck to deliver orders and it stretched the day till almost four o'clock.
I waited for Dick to come from Phila. from one o'clock till four-30--then we took his truck and brought a load of furniture from Aunt Nans. Part of it was a bedroom suit & wash machine, etc. for Jane & me.
It was Jane's birthday and we all had supper here, even Dick. I wasn't washed or shaved but had quite a pleasant evening finishing unloading and sleeping at Kinzers until 3:45.
