HB Journal for Dec 21, 1939

We never can get up any more before 6:15 and that is half an hour too late.

It didn't get light till pretty late this morning and then it was cloudy. There was a cold west wind blowing which brought a few snow flurries.

We were busy at the mill preparing for our Christmas holiday.

After supper we went to choir practice and then to a Christmas cantata at the high school. People we knew were there and we all enjoyed it.
