HB Journal for Dec 12, 1939

My lip was a little sore when I got awake this morning but not bad.

Jane washed this morning in 18° weather. It was clear & cold all day.

Wentensbergers delivered our pretty dining room suite in the morning.

Allen was back to work once again & it was like old times.

Supper was good. Jane ironed & I did the dishes. The Young family came then Reba P. dropped in.

We are both tired & sleepy & we'll hasten to bed as soon as convenient.
