There was no trouble to getting started. The weather was hot in the morning and continued so throughout the entire day.

I spent a good bit of time doing office work for it was the most pleasant. John was away a good bit of the afternoon which made it a little nicer for us because we weren't busy.

After supper I dressed & cleaned up and went to Christiana to change my Registration address. I soon came back and we sat on the front porch and enjoyed a nice cool breeze & a noisy katydid. Junie Z. & Bobby Brown dropped in on us and we had a good time. Soon it's bedtime.
