The Christmas day came in while we were in the midst of our service. The weather was quite above freezing, but we knew it was Christmas.

The family slept late for there was no hurry to go anywhere.

We went over to Sheaffers for the turkey Christmas dinner. It was swell and very much. In the afternoon we deserted our child & went over home for supper, big & good. We had a swell time.

We finished up at Sheaffers then & came home. Everything was fine. A wonderful collection of gifts were given to all of us.
