A pretty nice day was today, so it was. We weren't in any hurry getting started but found plenty to do once we did.

Jane did the washing. I had my nose in welfare most of the time.

Shorty phoned me at noon from over home.

After supper Jane went down home to sew. I was left with the dishes and custody of the baby. We had company most of the evening. Harold came & stayed a long while till the baby started to cry.

Jane finally came home & we got ready for bed.
