"A beautiful day in Chicago." In Kinzers, too it was a beautiful day. Only about half our men were on the job today. Some took off & some were laid off.

In the afternoon I went back to the office to try to get a little bit more caught up. I cleaned my car on the inside and out. After I came back, I played a little foot ball before supper.

After supper, Everett & I went over to New Holland to the farm show & tried to enjoy a chilly, busy night among Buicks etc.
