When we awakened at 5:30 this morning it was real cool. A wind had blown during the night and cooled it off. Herm went up and got a quilt.

I went along down home to get some beets to can. I canned 7 pints.

At the office Herman says things were about the same. Nothing exciting happened.

In the evening after supper Herm mowed yard. I dressed up a little but no one special came. Nancy stopped in for a minute, Webbie visited for about an hour.

Now it is time for bed again and we will need our quilt for it is really cool.
