We didn't manage to get up much ahead of time on this our last day of '39 but we were on time at the service at church. Short & Bill ___ were there.

We had dinner at Grandma Young's -- a big one too. Uncle Ralph's & the Arthur Young's were there also.

In the afternoon, we went to Christiana to a combined choir rehearsal.

We went over home for supper and a few minutes visit.

In the evening we went to Christiana to a church service. Shorty, Watson had charge. Short was here all night.
