Up again with not the slightest promise of rain. We still live in hopes that some day we will get rain.

Time went a little more swiftly and unboringly at work today.

I seem to be gaining a pound or two now and then; but why shouldn't I. Lots to eat, and lots of sleep.

Mr. & Mrs. Morris Schnupp & son Lem, came to pay us a nice visit in the evening. We had a swell time—but they caught us with an empty ice box and no arrangements to get any refreshments. We got to bed & sleep early.
