Well, well, well, late. John was not there yet and it pleased me to start the mill up once again. We were not extra busy but found plenty to do all day.

It was rainy and wet and not a little bit muddy.

I was glad to be able to stay at home in the evening. I leisurely spent it, reading, listening to the radio and talking. I washed my head and sent for my driver's license, also Hershey's with my check.

I retired real early, feeling I owed it to myself.
