Then came Sunday, for many, many reasons, the best day of the week. After getting up the latest hour possible, we scrambled off to Church. I forgot my, or a, handkerchief & my nose almost ran off. I had really a horrible time & won't forget so soon again.

After a dinner at home, we took Nancy with us and went over home for supper & to visit.

After a nice discursive C.E. meeting, we came home & his escourts had brought Short in from Waynesburg. The whole immediate family was there & we had just a lot of good time. Of course, "to bed" finished the day.
