Jane was a little bit under the weather with a cold and everything today, but she got up as usual and sent me off to the mill. She didn't wash (our clothes) though, even if it was a nice clear day.

It was nice at the mill too. The weather was not so warm. In the afternoon we had a windstorm and a rain.

Nancy was here for supper & Red came. We hurried and went "over home" to a Guild doggie roast where everybody had a swell time. Barney & I did all the work, almost, but were very well repaid. Bed later.
