Allen was absent again today but I didn't get out in the truck much. Well, we weren't very busy and Groffie could take care of it.

Hun & I had carpender work in the garret which we nicely attended to, even getting our shirts & pants soaked will sweat, so you know it was hot.

Supper was late again and as soon, or before the dishes were all away, Elsie & Miriam Groff came to visit. We were expecting someone & didn't know who.

Jane's doing office work but it's late enough to quit.
