We didn't get up very early this morning and hit the road right away.

At the place where we stopped for breakfast, the waitress didn't know whether to give us the breakfast menu or dinner.

We finally drove into Maine where a customer lady of Willis' was staying—a Mrs. Trefeather at Moore's.

We aimed for Albany, N.Y. and started from Maine. We went through New Hampshire into Brattleboro, Vermont. Here we stopped for the night in a brand new double cabin with two bowls, two showers, two etc.

We pretended to want to sleep man to man but couldn't take it.
