HB Journal for May 24, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
We didn't get up very soon again today and had breakfast almost at dinner time. We checked out of our hotel and went up to the top of the R.C.A. building. 70 stories. We saw the Queen Mary and almost all over N.Y.C.
We then pulled out of the big city and headed up to Connecticut up along the coast, then thru Rhode Island and ended up thru Providence into Mass.
We had a nice double cabin with heat, shower and even a radio. We weren't very tired and still enjoyed retiring.
