I got up early and got to the mill early and was "boss" till John came at dinner time. We were not extra busy but not one was idle.

The weather was just fine. Summer is upon us in full bloom.

Flossie & Eunice were here home cleaning today. Mother had 17 for supper.

After supper we had another one of those C.E. socials. Everyone had fun but we had a very lousey "wink" game.

Jane didn't feel well at all. I surely she perks up before Saturday, probably will. Maybe her trouble is similar to mine, yet I think not, even hope not.
