Came the dawn, and with it all the hopes and joys any bright spring will bring one who is free and content.

The change in weather wrought a change in nearly everything about us. Dispositions changed, countenances changed; everything gave one big leap ahead and life blossomed anew.

Something else blossomed anew, too. Mary Jane sent me a note saying she would be waiting at the church at seven to beat me at a game of ping-pong. She was. (It was all in fun for I took Jane up and had to wait till orchestra practice was over--then we had choir practice.) It was grand.
