HB Journal for Apr 4, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
I was just a little late for work this morning but no one knew the difference. It didn't seem a bit like spring. The wind was cold and strong, the weather cloudy. We didn't have a lot of time to discuss the weather, however, for we were busy all the time.
This evening we attended the first of this week's evening meetings at church. Rev. Underwood preached, and the Sr. Choir sang.
Cantata practice proceeded with two absent members. It is pretty well in shape.
At Young's, we had ice cream, dog & radio. For desert, I was treated to a little mess of moon, Jane officiating.
