Today was loaded with work; so much that, there was scarcely any diversion of any sort excepting a few minutes this evening when I read an installment of a continued story in the "American." I went to work at 6:30 this morning and left shortly after six o'clock this evening.

March weather prevailed today. The wind was cold and strong. The occasionally radiant sun was the only thing that promised the spring time.

Jane called me this evening with reference to buying a piano tomorrow.
