Well, well, congratulations, I nearly got to work on time once. It didn't matter much, though, for we were not pressed very hard.

After dinner we shut down to repair the water-wheel and didn't get started up as yet. We got busier and didn't get done till five.

It was a warm, bright day and made us think of spring.

We had a lovely choir practice this evening before prayer meeting. Sixteen were there. Afterwards we followed the usual procedure and got home late.
