It is almost needless to say I got up late again, for try as I might, I cannot make the "apple."

Too bad! too for there was much to be done and all day was not sufficient to do it in... John was absent off and on and we had to shift for ourselves. We finished by 5:30.

After supper we had a hurrying, scrambling time to get dressed and to practice on time. To our surprise (happy) Mr. Kaufman was there to direct us.

After prayer meeting, we had ice cream & pretzels at G____s & I stayed very late as usual.
