I got up when Jane did once and started the day off right. It was still as hot as last night and got as the sun beat upon us.

Dick & Schnuppie went fishing and we had the place to ourselves. We were busy, but got done till noon.

Dick & Mick & Aunt Ver___ looked us over after dinner. We went shopping & took Everett, Bar__ & Wilson to Chestnut Level. Then sang at Middle Octararo after lunch in Quarryville.

We & Youngs visited Groffs informally. A thundershower chased heat away although we may get no rain.
