Early again at the mill was I. It looked like a slack day according to the order sheets in the morning but we were busy all day and have quite a few left for tomorrow.

Calvin Hauch and I put a new checkerboard mill sign up on the side of the mill. It is a swell job. I ran out of gas in New Holland with John's LaSalle, but didn't walk more than a block.

After supper I took Flossie and the kids home and looked over her nice bunch of chickens. I later squared up accounts and went to bed.
