I got up at 5:45 this morning but had to wait around till Mother got breakfast. I was till the mill quite on time, in fact, a little early.

We were not rushed with work today but spent a good deal of time cleaning up. It seems that when it rains, it pours and vice-versa.

Flossie & children were here for supper and we celebrated mother's birthday.

In the evening I went along with Charlotte & Rev. Bryers & Mabel Spotts in latter's car to a Y.P. Council meeting at the First Church, Lanc. It lasted a good while but things were accomplished with difficulty.
