Mother was not up very early, and the kids didn't get up in time to pack my lunch, but I got around to work all right.

We didn't seem to be especially busy at any time yet we didn't get finished at the mill till about one-thirty.

I washed my car for a change, also my head. Ellis Brackbill's son brought a big load of hay.

After supper, I took a load of people to Lancaster where the County Choir sang in a memorial program. We stoped at Rancks. Jane & I slept a little much & it made me late home. It rained.
