There didn't seem to be any special hurry to get up this morning and I didn't force myself very much. I got up late and was a few minutes late for work. Having left the ignition switch on all night, I couldn't start my car & drove Dad's.
We were surely rushed at the mill again today, especially after dinner. We worked till dark - 5:30. I drove Carl's new Buick to the bank through the snow which fell early in the morning and which, even at that time, was filling the road.
After supper the boys & I made a small ladder on which to keep tab of our standing in the U.C.C.C. Checker tournament.
