Late getting up made me late for work. It was a miserably rainy and damp day. The road was wet all day and the sun came out only once.
Farming will certainly have a late start this spring for the farmers haven't had time to get out in the ground when it was dry enough.
We found our selves quite busy today; so busy, in fact, that we didn't get done.
After a short supper, I went back to the mill and worked till about 12:30. I passed my time ready a book Rev. had given me on marriage.
I called Jane & her mother called me. I postpone my date till tomorrow.
