Although many or most people were keeping today as a holiday, I started the week right.

Harold & I arose at 4:45 and mother got us breakfast. I took him to Lancaster to meet the train back to Waynesburg. I came back and went to work early.

We were not unusually busy, but rather, unusually not busy. I worked in the office with inventories and reports etc.

After supper I didn't go away but rather went off to an early start to dream land.
