Bright and early, I started the day off. You must believe me, that is the only way. There is leisure before breakfast, if at no other time.
There was nothing new at the mill, not even the weather, except there was no rain and John got Morris a brand new truck.
After supper most of us went to prayer meeti preparatory services. Most everyone was there, especially the young people. Maybe it was to see Short, but even so they couldn't help my seeing them & wanting them -- especially the one Everett tried to hear me kiss.
