==History==
After the [[world war three|third world war]], which as predicted was fought with weapons Einstein couldn't say due to his German accent, the world was left broken without any formal states or governments. The human race were facing an apocalyptic future, filled with trampolines and socks. The only people to survive the war unharmed were those residents of [[Heaven]] who stayed indoors surfing [[Muselive]] so weren't effected by the nuclear fallout of the war. [[SuperAndy]] was one of the highest ranking of these so after much delegation it fell to him to create the new country.

Andy's Underwear was created with a one-world vision of utopia - a country for all people's regardless of race, wealth or creed. Rather people would be judjed on their newbness - and flamed accordingly. The constitution was written to achieve this and to help Andy's Underwear be a mirror to [[Heaven]] on Earth.

==Geography==

In the central northen region is the capital city of [[Bellend]] a sprawling metropolis most famous for its heat. A cultural centre of diversity and learning, it is often compared to the Roman city of Pompeii, not least because it is situated on an active volcano (referred to by the locals by the name [[Falle Shio]]) that is observed to erupt between two and five times a day. Descending from the small hill the city is built on you soon come across dense coarse forests that are home to interesting and diverse wildlife.

The most notable feature of the southern regions is a deep crevice, filled with thinner forestry and more wilflife. Of notable interest is the gas fountain - a deep well believed to run to the [[Red Socking|centre of the earth]] from which clouds of noxious, sometimes coloured gas erupt - sometimes accompanied with rich mud flows. This natural wonder has been the subject of geologists for many years and there are several theories as to why such volcanic activity takes place in this otherwise calm region.

To both the east and west are vast deserts with sparse plant life, there is little of interest in these regions.

==Political Structure==

The political structure of Andy's Underwear has remained constant since its founding. The form of government is a [[Demonocracy]] where the people are able to vote for all lower MP seats but the higher positions are then chosen by those already elected MPs. The highest position of all is that of [[The President of Andy's Underpants|President]] and here again the method of selection differs: each president is chosen by the previous and upon appointment a president is required to name their successor. The Presidential position carries the most power in the state with privelages to make decisions without the aid of the Parliament. The Parliament is there to act as an advisory panel to the President, representing the interests of the people, however they have no power beyond this - the final say lies with the President. 

Traditionally the President does run the state as a democracy, allowing the Parliament to vote on decisions and following the will of the people, however it has not been unknown for the President to exclude the Parliament from the decision making process in times of war, or when it suited him.

Secondary to the President is the 'Hero'. The Hero acts as a figurehead for the state appearing on stamps and currency and representing the state as a diplomatic ambassador. A curious fact about the Hero is that upon accepting the position they are required to change their name to SuperFirstname i.e. SuperDom. It is not unusual for the President to name the Hero as their successor.

Andy's Underwear's most famous export is no doubt the highly acclaimed and sought after produce of Bellend: [[smegma|cheese]]. Pale yellow or creamy white in colour it is actually manufactured by curdling the volcanic magma material that is reguarly ejaculatd by the local active volcano.

The secondary export is methane gas. Captured from the southern regions it makes a rich and highly efficient fuel for powering all manner of items and equipment used by the population.

The residents of Andy's Underpants speak a variation on English known as [[Moobley]]. The development of the people's use of language is believed by anthropologists to be a direct consequence of their complex cultural evolution.
