The President is tasked to determine the domestic and foreign policy of the 2009 Class Government. The President is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Insignia
After the oath of office has been taken by the elected president, they are not given any emblemns or insignia. That really sucks, as it would be pretty awesome to have some sweet insignia.
List of 2009 Class Presidents:
- Joseph Horgan (2000-2001)
- Zach Connerty-Marin (2001-2002)
- Emily Kingree (2004-2005)
- Joseph Horgan (2005-Present)
Note: In the terms of 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 there was no one serving the term of 2009 Class President. This is because in 6th Grade a Class of 2010 member was serving as 5th/6th grade President of Student Council (which was the only presidential position open to a Class of 2009 member) and in 7th Grade a Class of 2008 member headed the 7th/8th grade Student Council.
