Toa is a word meaning "Hero". A Toa is a being created when a Toa Stone is given to a Matoran and the Matoran takes it to a Toa Suva. The Toa are the Heroes of Matoran Societies. A Toa has control over one elemental Power:

- Ga- Water
- Ko- Ice
- Po- Stone
